first, we cleaned the negatives with the negative cleaner and dried them with photowipes. after that, we loaded the negatives in the enlarger. then, we focused the image with the focus knob and set the aperture. To make the test strip we: *took a half sheet of the photo paper *loaded it into the easel *cover up 3/4 of the paper and left 1/3 exposed *set the time on the_timer__to 1 second *exposed another 1/4 of the paper (exposing 3/4 total) *set the time on the _timer__to 1 second *exposed another 1/4 of the paper (showing 4/4 total) *then we developed them.. first we put them in the developer for 1 minute (or about 1 min) then we put them in the fixer for 2 minutes after that we put them in the stopper bath for 15 seconds finally we them in the (quote, end quote) "jacuzzi bath" for 5 minutes
